Web Portal Developer

Specific Requirements:

• Full Clearance
• BSCS or equivalent
• 5+ years experience developing significant Web applications
• Experience developing for the J2EE environment, Java and XML/SOAP experience preferred
• Familiarity with Internet application design concepts, including distributed components, multiple-tier systems and session management
• Programming experience using HTML, ASP, JSP and web client scripting languages
• Able to develop both entire applications and individual application components. Object-oriented systems development preferred and experience documenting system design
• Experienced and proficient using Structured Query Language (SQL) to interact with an RDBMS (Oracle, MS Access)
• Essential to have good technical writing skills and good interpersonal and communication skills

The Senior Web Portal Developer may have a hands-on role in programming, general maintenance, technical support, enhancement, administration, and in ensuring standards compliance and cross-browser, cross-platform testing of Web-based applications. The developer may be responsible for the development and integration of software applications. This may involve developing server-side Java software components, creating web pages in HTML, and/or scripting languages.
