Mr. Andre Gudger - Founder

In 2003, Mr. Gudger formed a corporate entity that would provide high-end solutions to its customers through unique research and sponsored product innovation. This new corporate entity signed agreements with University of Maryland College Park, Human Computer Interaction Lab to provide software development and commercial practices to data visualization and executive dashboard technologies. Mr. Gudger is no stranger to producing innovative solutions and helping clients improve their return on investment or giving them the competitive edge while reducing cost. Solvern Innovations now has several top researchers serving on its technology board of advisors.

Mr. Gudger, many accomplishments has led to advisory board appointments to include: University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) Systems Engineering Board, UMBC Presidents Advisory Council, and University of North Carolina Center for Entrepreneurship.

Mr. Gudger recently completed a global MBA studying at top 5 Universities in their respective region of the world to include (China, Brazil, Mexico, Rotterdam, North Carolina), with a focus on corporate strategy and global operations, and has served as the key note speaker to numerous organizations to include: New Jersey Institute of Technology, Princeton University, Verizon and AT&T.

Mr. Terry K. Craft - COO

Mr. Terry Craft is a Georgia native who received degrees from Chaminade University of Honolulu and Excelsior College of New York (BS). Mr. Craft joined Solvern Innovations in April of 2005 and assumed the role as COO in September 2005 after gaining valuable experience under the daily tutelage of the company’s founder, Mr. Andre Gudger. Mr. Craft has been instrumental in the growth and success of the company by identifying and capturing opportunities and a keen ability to choose the right personnel to augment the staff. His primary focus is business and relationship building and the daily overall operation of the company.

Mr. Craft dedicated 25 years of his life proudly serving his country as a Cryptologic Technician in the United States Navy. He completed tours in Japan, Guam, Hawaii, Georgia, and Maryland. During his 25 years his experience included cryptology, telecommunications, and direct support to Navy ships. His last assignment was as a computer network vulnerability assessment Project Manager throughout Europe and advanced training manager.

Mr. Craft’s awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Navy Commendation Medals, Navy Achievement Medals, and Good Conduct Medals among others. He received citations from President Bush, the Governor of Georgia, the Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy and several Flag Officers. He was also recognized as Solvern Innovations’ employee of the quarter, forth quarter 2005.

Mr. Craft has been married to his wife Michiko for over 20 years. They have two children, Eri and Kouhei.

Mr. Rodney Buie - Vice President of Science and Technology

Mr. Rodney Buie is the Vice President of Science and Technology of Solvern Innovations. Mr. Buie specializes in Information Technology, program management, business development, systems implementation and operations management. He is a minority owner, who has been part of Solvern Innovations from its inception in 2003. His efforts have been essential in establishing Solvern Innovations as a high tech, high quality government supplier.

Mr. Buie has a B.S. degree from Stanford University in Chemical Engineering, an M.S. from the University of Missouri at Columbia in Industrial Engineering and a M.B.A. from the University of California at Los Angeles. Since graduating, he has received several technical and financial certifications.

Mr. Buie has over 20 years of professional experience with Solvern Innovations, Leveraged Technologies and AT&T in software development, program management, customer relationship management, business operations, statistical quality control, high tech manufacturing and business development. He led diverse projects such as $200 million corporate divisions, product development, class 100 clean room facilities, and work flow software development.

Active in community service, Mr. Buie has led volunteer projects supporting Information Technology education in Baltimore County with the NAACP, college scholarships with ABTE, Boys and Girls clubs of Orlando, and teaching at his church.

Mr. Sheron L. Gudger - Vice President of Enterprise Business Solutions

Mr. Sheron Gudger received a B.A. in communications as well as achieving Project Management Professional Certification from Wake Forest University, where he was a four year letterman on the school’s football team.

Mr. Gudger has over 9 years of leadership, Operations and Management experience in the fast paced telecommunications arena. Mr. Gudger started his career with a major local Interexchange Carrier as a network engineer, where he was an intricate part of an engineering group that was responsible for executing the network implementation of several major Federal Government customers.

Mr. Gudger moved on in his career to become a key member of the operations group of a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier based in northern Virginia. Responsible for network build out and project management of major network infrastructure projects, He lead a team of engineers and project managers in successful mission critical tasks and projects. He was recognized by top company executives for his achievements and dedication, thus earning him multiple promotions within the company’s operations division.

Prior to coming to Solvern Innovations, Mr. Gudger spent the last 6 years as a Program Manager with Verizon Advanced Services Group. Very instrumental in the engineering, implementation and deployment of the fiber optic, DSL and VOIP networks, He lead a team of program managers who have been credited with the successful and critical implementation of over 3.2 million advanced services customers.
